CHARACTER
Name: Sunny Milk / Star Sapphire / Luna Child
Canon: Touhou Project
Timeline: End of Oriental Sacred Place
If playing another character from the same canon, how will you deal with this?:
Discussed here.
Personality:
Since this is three characters, rather than just one...
Sunny Milk is the ringleader of the three fairies. She at least claims to be the smartest one; she's at least the most ambitious, and has her moments of cleverness. However, this is somewhat offset by her inflated ego. Once she gets one foot in the door, she builds momentum, quickly getting into the mindset that she can get away with anything. This usually ends with her in over her head, frantically coming up with more lies to cover for past lies, and she's not nearly as good at talking her way out of sticky situations as she is at talking her way into them in the first place. She is easily distracted/lured out with delicious food.
Luna Child is the grumpiest of the three fairies. She's the voice of snark in the party, and also the voice of complaint. In terms of personality, she fits the role of the Smart One of the team... but in practice, she's probably the least intelligent of the three. She can often be found 'reading' complicated books, or more accurately pretending to read them in order to look smart. She usually gets dragged into Sunny's schemes, and frequently ends up taking the fall for her. Her favorite prank is theft, most notably of coffee beans (coffee is her favorite drink). However, due to lacking in common sense, she uses her sound-dampening ability even when it would only serve to give her away by making everything quiet.
Sunny and Luna act like a rowdy pair of sisters. Of the three pairs, these are the ones who always end up fighting. The core reason for this is probably that both Sunny and Luna think they're the smartest of the three, when it's actually clearly Star.
Star Sapphire is the most relaxed and easygoing of the three fairies. She usually winds up going along with Sunny's schemes because she's a doormat. However, unlike the other two fairies, she possesses a certain degree of common sense, which helps her stay (relatively) out of trouble. That combined with her radar ability means that she's usually the first to escape, leaving the other two to take the fall for themselves while she goes home. When off the job, she's kind of floaty, and kind of an airhead, getting distracted by weird, nonsensical things, like how wonderful it is that the American Flag has so many stars on it.
As a group, the Three Fairies are dedicated pranksters. It is their favorite passtime - coming up with new and creative pranks, then utilizing their powers in creative ways to carry them out. They have a tendency to bit off more than they can chew, though, due to a lack of common sense and planning skills. This is compounded by the fact that, like most fairies, they have insatiable curiosity and poor planning skills. No matter how many times they fail, though, their perserverance is eternal, due to a combination of natural regeneration abilities and an astonishing talent for not learning from their mistakes.
First Person:
[Red is Sunny. Blue is Star. Black is Luna.]
Hello, everybody! The time has come for us to properly introduce ourselves!
We are the three magical queens of the dream world! I am Gloria Romantica, eldest and wisest of the three queens! If you treat me with reverence and respect, then good fortune will surely befall you.
And I am--
Hey! I was going to be Gloria Romantica!
Look, Luna, we already decided that I get to be Gloria Romantica! I won, fair and square.
But I was the one who came up with the name! You stole it, Sunny!
I'm not Sunny, I'm Gloria Romantica, queen of the dream world!
This whole idea was stupid, anyway! Who's ever heard of a dream world with three queens?
Fine, then! From now on, I'm the queen, and you two are my lowly servants!
[Sunny and Luna devolve into hair-pulling and shouting in the background, as Star takes control of the pocketwatch.]
Setting aside all the small details, we're very happy to meet you all. Goodbye!
[End transmission.]
Third Person:
All things considered, the caper could have gone better. Especially the last bit, when they got caught.
"Of all the nerve!" Sunny rattled the bars of the makeshift cage the three of them had been dumped in. "This is just too much! It's a violation of our fundamental human rights!"
"But we don't have those, right?" Sunny was sitting on the floor of the cage, poking at the ground idly. "Seeing as we're fairies, and all. Are there fundamental fairy rights?"
"Not being stuck in a cage should be a right." Luna was sulking in a corner. She had had a bad feeling about this whole plan from the start. Or at least, she had a bad feeling about it now, and was fully prepared to insist that she had been against it from the start if anyone were to ask her about it now. However, any further rumination on the subject was interrupted by Sunny.
Sunny stood tall, hands on her hips, speaking to Star and Luna with all the aplomb of a presidential address. Despite themselves, they listened with rapt attention. "Who cares about those details? We're going to get out of here now, but I need your help! After all, the person who put us in here forgot one crucial thing!" She pointed dramatically upwards. "A thing that no human can do, but any fairy can!"
Several minutes later, a fairy-filled cage was floating unsteadily through the streets of Ruby City, being carried from the inside. The three fairies had initially been overjoyed at the success of their plan - by taking the cage with them, they had been able to escape, and were now on their way home free. However, lingering doubts were beginning to surface in their minds. One doubt in particular, which none of them wanted to be the first to voice. Eventually, Luna caved and asked the quesiton.
"How are we gonna get out of the cage once we get home?"
